Lounging Around

From beginner quilters to a Bar-B-Que cozy makers… there is a place for everyone at Spool of Thread lounge in Mount Pleasant. This open concept classroom sewing space is the brain child of Lili Nedved and Henry Sinha. It has been creating a friendly buzz throughout the ranks of experienced sewers and  curious first-timers. Anyone can drop in for a class, and we are happy to say that Janome Sewing machines are on board and ready to sew. You can learn more about Spool of Thread in this article. Good Luck Lili & Henry!

Does anyone out there have such a lounge (or something similar) in their neighborhood? In Toronto, there is a similar set up in The Sewing Studio. Entrepeneurs like these are changing the face of sewing… Stitch On!
