These are super easy to make. Cut 4 or 5 inch squares of fabric or use a bunch from a charm pack. Take 4 & fold them in half, wrong sides together and press with an iron. Have 1 more that you do not fold- that is the underside of the coaster.  You may add decorative stitching if you wish.

Now look at the pic. closely and arrange the 4 folded squares/now triangles so that they interlace with one another. Lay the 5th square RIGHT sides together with your “bundle” of 4 folded squares. Sew a 1/4 inch seam all around the edge. Turn the coaster out to the right side, poke corners and press. Insert the stem & base of the wine glass into your coaster.

Great thing is that it won’t fall off + it will catch any drips & condensation to protect your tables.
