This pic has no real connection to the content of this particular post but I wanted you to have something pretty to look at!! It is an embroidered table topper using Simon’s Folly/Jenny Haskins embroidery designs in green & yellow rayon thread. I actually embroidered this a number of years ago and it joined the ranks of that large collection of PHD’s I have accumulating. Come on…..”fess up” …you have them too! In addition to the machine hoop embroidery, some of the designs have been connected with machine decorative stitching (several rows close together). Finally the entire background between & around the embroidery was free motion quilted in a cream cotton thread.  Don’t ask how many hours it took to make just this one table topper……I don’t actually want to know so I’m choosing not to do the calculation!!! Oh, and by the way, it is no longer a PHD – it is a PD (project DONE) …. I think I completed it sometime last year.

I was delighted when I arrived at work this morning to see so many of you had taken the time to give us your feedback & comments about how often & what you like to see on this janomelife blog. THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

We will most certainly try to keep the posts rolling while taking your comments into consideration.

Continued feedback is also most welcome. Please keep the comments rolling – we read them all and plan to implement a good number of your suggestions as & when we can.

Liz, you’ll get all your PHD’S completed this summer then you’ll have to start over. Isn’t that a hardship. That is another beautiful piece of art.
