I purchased my Janome 8900qcp and the Janome 15000, in the Middle East will I be able to use it in the United States without a converter.

Would a Janome 8900 purchased in Canada work in Ireland.

      Hi Judith,
Yes it will but you will need to buy just a power cord in Ireland that plugs into their outlets. There is a transformer inside the machine which converts the voltage.

      Hi Judith,
Yes, that model has a transformer/converter inside so all you need is to buy a power cord for the machine when you are in Ireland which plugs into their electrical outlets. You would get this at a Janome dealer in Ireland.

      Hi Tina,
Yes, it is compatible with the Horizon Mc12000. It plugs into the same socket in the same way as the current foot control for the Mc12000.
However, I do not believe that these foot controls are available as a separate part yet. They will, of course, be available eventually but it is a bit soon for that.

      Hi Tina,
Just thought I had better add that I am not sure if the remote thread cutter which will be an optional accessory for the Mc8900 will also work on the Mc12000. Too soon to know that but we will keep you all informed through this blog – keep watching!
