I REALLY THINK THAT ONE OF MY VERY FAVOURITE THINGS ON THE JANOME MC15000 HAS TO BE THE BUILT-IN EMBROIDERY DESIGNS……..they are so fresh & contemporary, NEW and different. There sure is nothing same old-same old about the 480 designs on this incredible machine!! 240 of the 480 designs are BRAND NEW – never before seen on any JANOME EMBROIDERY machine.
Not the best lighting on this pic, sorry. It shows 2 of the brand new designs which I stitched onto white satin & made into a neck roll pillow. The designs are reminiscent of wrought iron work and stitch out just beautifully – fine little satin stitches are a breeze for our new JANOME MC 15000!!
This is the flower girl dress that I made for the launch of the machine. I resized the design used on the bodice & repeated it a little smaller on the hem line and quite a lot smaller on the ends of the sash/bow. This resizing was, of course, done using JANOME DIGITIZER MBX as I needed to reduce the size by more than 20%. I also used another effective scroll design along the hemline alternating with the heart design. The fabric was silk dupioni and it was lined with pink satin fabric.
iPad pouch made especially to keep my iPad from getting scratched or damaged! I embroidered one of the JANOME MC15000 built-in designs & then made up the bag in exactly the same way as shown in the blog post to be published next week on 26th Dec : How to make a zipper bag.
