I am always on the lookout for patterns that are modern, easy to sew for the men in my life. Both my husband and son are very long waisted. Yes there are the big and tall shops, but not modern enough for my son who is 22.
While reading through the latest Sew News, Feb/March 2014, I came across a company called Thread Theory Patterns and they are Canadian!!!!! Loved their look and had to share. Will be ordering the Strathcona Henley and the Goldstream Peacoat paper pattern, though they are available as a PDF to download. Love their packaging and don’t like to stick pieces together after printing.
To get that professional finish on the hems, our 1200D or CoverPro CPX does 2 or 3 thread coverstitch effortlessly.
