SPRING HAS SPRING…WELL IN BC IT DEFINITELY HAS!
On the EASTER weekend, my plan had been to sew ….and sew….and sew some more. But hubby said the weather was too nice to stay indoors so we went for a walk at a local park. The lovely sunshine & spring flowers simply inspired me to go back to my sewing room from which I had just emerged!
This is not new. I made it a few years ago but each year, I dig it out and use it again as I just love the bright yellows against the blue back drop…so fresh & spring -like.

I got this finished a few months back…..and yes, it speaks of spring and the lovely lime green of new growth
Or take one large fussy cut floral emblem and free motion all over with thread painting to create your own spring fantasy……this was for a class I taught a few years ago.
