ALL JANOME MC 15000 OWNERS NEED TO BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE NEW UPDATES AVAILABLE FOR YOUR MACHINE AS WELL AS FOR HORIZON LINK SUITE.
This FREE UPDATE was posted recently on the GLOBAL WEBSITE. Please go to http://www.janome.ca > select Global website(bottom left corner) > Downloads tab>Machine updates > MC15000 – Version 1.10 update NEW.
Please also go to SOFTWARE UPDATES under the same DOWNLOADS TAB > Horizon Link Suite Version 1.10 NEW
- PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL THAT YOU READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST BEFORE YOU DO THE DOWNLOAD & SUBSEQUENT UPLOAD TO THE MC15000 & YOUR COMPUTER FOR HORIOZN LINK SUITE. In fact, I would highly recommend that you print these instructions – they are offered as a PDF file. Keep this handy to refer to every step of the way.
- Follow these instructions 100% closely please or you may find that something might go wrong. Of course, this is nothing that cannot be fixed but it would be an hassle to have to ship your machine to a service center to be “re-flashed”. If you prefer, you may ask your MC15000 authorized Dealer to assist you with the UPDATE. I would highly recommend you ask your dealer if you may watch the process so that you can learn for future updates.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE OTHER NEW UPDATES AVAILABLE WHICH MAY ALSO APPLY TO YOU:
- JANOME DIGITIZER MBX Version 4.5E. There is a update from version 4.5 to 4.5E – basically just to add the NEW Essential RE18 hoop + resolve a minor issue.
- JANOME DIGITIZER JUNIOR version 4.5E – this update is also to add the Essential (RE18) hoop & resolve a minor issue.
PLEASE SEE YOUR LOCAL JANOME DEALER TODAY FOR MORE INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE WITH THESE UPDATES.
I don’t see the new update on the janome site. it says 1.04 on the site and yours says 1.10 I believe I downloaded the 1.4 when I was in Lethbridge taking your class. So I am confused, if you have more info or something I am not doing I would appreciate the help on this thanks Linda
I don’t think you can be looking in the correct place as it IS there. I just checked again. V1.04 was what came out in Feb this year so that is not the NEW one I am referring to in tis latest blog post.
Now there is another one marked NEW version 1.10. Please go to http://www.janome.ca >bottom left corner of home screen: GLOBAL site> Downloads tab on this global website homepage > choose machine update tab & then go back for software updates as well – as per my blog post.
If you still can’t find it, please ask Deb at the Lethbridge store to help you – I know she will know where the updates are to be found.
