We have a number of different books to give away over the coming months.  The give-away this month (August 2014) is one copy of the book reviewed in this blog post. All you need do is send us a comment in the comment block below this post giving us your NAME , TEL # &  the name of your local CANADIAN Janome dealerOur apologies but this offer is only open to Canadian blog viewers at this time. We will do a draw of all eligible entries at the end of August 2014 and announce the winner during the first week of September. Good luck Canadian blog viewers!

JUST A REMINDER: we need your Tel # AND name of   your local Canadian Janome Dealer as we will ship the book to your dealer who has to know how to call you when it arrives! Many of you are forgetting these details!! We will NOT publish these personal details. If we publish your competition response comment we will delete the personal contact details first. As the entries are coming in ( and THANK YOU there are LOTS) we are writing your details on real paper and popping them into our big draw box for random selection at the end of August. Please enter just once …..fair is fair!

The book is written by Francesca Denhartog & Carole Ann Camp, published by Storey Publishing. THANK YOU TO STOREY PUBLISHING FOR PROVIDING THIS & OTHER BOOKS COMING UP!  This book has that very practical spiral bound format so you can flip the book back on itself without damaging the spine. So what is this book about?? As the front cover (above) suggests, it has 16 different skirt projects with full instructions on how to make them.

I really liked it as I thought many of them were really neat: practical, pretty and I would definitely wear a skirt like that.

The projects are skirts for all seasons. I know we don’t exactly want to think winter right now but it will roll around eventually and you might like a new skirt like the pic below to wear with your boots??
