Today’s apple-a-day-with-JANOME is another look at JANOME DIGITIZER MBX : we explore the motif and stipple fill options for our same apple embroidery.
I used the same apple image as previously – it was brought into JANOME DIGITIZER MBX software using the INSERT IMAGE tab. Once more I manually clicked around my apple after selecting the motif fill option. There are SO many to choose from, you are sure to have “choice disease” while you make your selection. I finally settled on one for the red apple and a different one for my green leaf. I left the stalk with the same turning angle satin fill used previously.

Notice that I changed the stalk fill to tiny little cross stitches and added a stem stitch outline on the leaf instead of the satin outline.
Not only do you have a myriad of motif fill options but you can also scale the size of the motifs and adjust the angle for even more options.
The STIPPLE fill option is yet another choice. I made the stippling closer & smaller for the apple and even smaller for the leaf – just because I wanted a little bit more “fill”.
With both embroideries I used the same First grade font built into the ABC monogram function on the JANOME MC15000. This font is also found on the Mc12000 & Mc11000, EL9500, EL9600 and EL900.
Bet you can’t wait to play around with JANOME DIGITIZER MBX software too?! It is a lot of fun and gives you SO much more versatility and design possibilities for your embroidery.
Liz,Missed you in Calgary. Hope that you are feeling better.
