Scott and Liz attended the Edmonton Sewing Show recently. It was a lot of fun and jolly busy too. I don’t think I had time to eat or think or refresh my lipstick until about 3.30pm!

I did a stage show each day entitled “The Cutting Edge of Crafting, Sewing and Quilting” This gave show visitors the chance to see what all the buzz is about : what exactly does the Artistic Edge 15 Digital cutter do? How will I benefit from having this exciting new tool in my sewing room? What does it do for me as a quilter? and much more. We totally sold out of these digital cutters at both the Edmonton and Calgary Sewing shows so there sure is a lot of interest.
I am going to do a series of blog posts to share all about the amazing & varied things the Edge Cutter will do over the next few weeks, so keep checking in at janomelife.

You are correct: Simple Cut software which comes with the Artistic Edge cutter is not upgradable to the full suite of Artistic Software. However, you do not need to upgrade your software to the full suite. You may need to update your Simple Cut software to version 7.1. This is a FREE download from http://artisticsewingsuite.com/software/update/artistic-suite-simplecut-v71-update. Please go ahead and update your software as per instructions on this link if your software shows it is version 7. You need to have version 7.1.
