The theme for this year’s Fall Creativ was Winter Wonderland. Janome was responsible for the creation and installation of the tall center tree seen in the pic above. Our thanks to Debbie and Linda who designed, made and put it all together.
It was “all hands on deck” for the Creativ Festival, Canada’s largest sewing & craft show. This took place recently at the Metro Convention center in downtown Toronto.
We had 4 Toronto & Ontario area dealers representing Janome and Artistic Creative products on our booth as well as a Janome Boutique booth where we offered many Janome feet, accessories, bobbins, needles, thread, Embroidery Design CD’s and much more.
Celine, our Educator from Montreal, was kept busy in the Janome Boutique advising customers on various feet & accessories as well as doing on going demonstrations on our incredible Artistic Edge 15 Digital cutter.

One of the walls in our large Janome booth was decorated with a wide array of Winter Wonderland samples – all were made using our Artistic Edge Digital cutter and/or our Janome sewing and embroidery machines.
It was super busy on our Janome booth where we had ongoing demonstrations on many of our Janome machine models :sewing, embroidery and sergers as well as on the Artistic Edge Digital cutter. I spent quite a bit of show time showing customers how wonderfully quick & easy it is to do straight lines, curves and circles with free motion using rulers.
This is our $10,000 Dream Sewing room prize – sponsored by Janome. We will share with you some of the excitement of who won this prize in another blog post. This $10,000 prize included a Janome MC9900; Horizon MC 8200; Janome Serger ; a sewing table, an Artistic Edge digital cutter, and Artistic Starter kit.
