The red cross hair on the clothsetter arm aligns with the marked position on the fabric – where you want the center of the design to be. I like to hoop sticky stabilizer and not the fabric. Then it is supereasy to move the fabric until it is 100 correctly lined up with the red Clothsetter cross hair. Then press the fabric firmly onto the sticky stabilizer tearway or wash away both work well). I baste the fabric to the stabilizer in the hoop with the basting function before starting the embroidery stitching.
