Janome Days at Snip an Stitch, Nanaimo was enjoyed by many new and long standing customers last month. I know I sure had a great deal of fun too! We covered these topics – all in lecture demo format: Exploring Machine Embroidery and Software which Donna Morton and I presented as a team as usual; What’s new with Janome – in terms of sewing: feet, accessories; project ideas, hints & tips + lots of Confessions from the Sewaholic!; and Quilting with Janome covering Acufil quilting, ruler quilting, quilting feet review, free motion quilting and ……of course…….loads of Show & Tell from my trunk show as well as beautiful things the customers had made.
Please enjoy the pictorial record of this fun event. Don’t you think that Show and tell is always so inspiring?
And the store was so festively decorated as usual!
In case you have not had the opportunity to visit this store……enjoy these pics:

Displayed high up in a corner: dont you want to make this Cantik batik fabric pattern for Canada 150 next year? I sure do and I think I would definitely use the Artistic Edge cutter to cut all the fiddly bits!

Is this not SO cute? This was either a kit or a class that the store offered which Jackie S made and shared with us.
Are you feeling inspired to go sew up a storm? Or finish some of those UFO’s in your stash? I know I come away from events such as this dying to “hide” for weeks in my sewing room. Thank you to all the Snip and Stitch customers who brought along their projects. I’m so sorry we don’t have space here to show everything you brought along to share & inspire – You rock!
And my thanks also go to Kathy, Perry and their wonderful staff who make my visits to their store such highlights in my travel calendar. Looking forward to the next Janome Days in February 2017!!
I am sorry I keep missing your workshops at Snip and Stitch. It is great to have a wonderful teacher at an incredible shop.
