There were quite a few scraps of card stock left over after I had cut the little tote bags and mini boxes in pic above. So I used another cutting file had downloaded for free: gift tags. It cut them out in a flash and I threaded silver cords into the little hole the Artistic Edge cutter also cut for me. I don't think I am ever buying another gift tag. Why would I need to!

Celine from Montreal cut these snowflakes on the Artistic Edge Digital cutter. The cutting mats are 15 inch square so we can cut lovely BIG shapes.....this snowflake is made up of 2 separate cuts: one blue and 1 white which were then glued together for a very pleasing two tone look.

Thank you for this show and tell! This has been on my list for a while but I still have a few questions. Are the designs shown included in the machine’s software? If not, where do they come from? Also I’ve seen cutters that use dies to cut the fabric. Does this machine require dies too? Thank you for reminding me why I’d like this great machine.

      Hi Ceil,
No, not all the designs are in the Simple Cut software although you do get 3500 Designs included (cutting files and embroidery designs) with this software! Many of the designs you see in the pics were downlaoded for free from the internet. Just googel free SVG cutting files or similar topic and troll for what you need!
No, there are no dies for cutting with the Artistic Edge cutter. It has a cartridge with 3 interchangable blades (depends what you are cutting as to which blade you use. Manual and many video’s online give instructions).

Yes, we love this machine and like heated seats in your car…..once you have it, you can not do without!
