Cold enough for you yet? Even here in Vancouver, BC we are getting a touch of the deep freeze. We have even had temps almost into the minus double digits. Yes……I know that is not as low as many of our janomelife viewers but cold nonetheless. Point is…….it is delightfully warm sewing weather inside!
Everyone here at janomelife blog and the Janome Canada office wishes you a wonderful Christmas and the very best sewing and embroidery year ever in 2017!

This 3D Christmas angel is purchasable on www.janome-embroidery.com. She comes in a set of 3 different styles and I am liking the concept of being able to buy these well digitized designs in my pjs at home! No need to go out in the ice and snow. I have called her my “sugarplum angel”.

Christmas ornaments in a wire basket standing on a hexagonal table topper: use a border print for the wide hexagon border and use an embroidery, applique or fussy cut a fabric design for the center part of the top.
Fancy making one of these fabric trees above? Check out this website for instructions. or check out Pinterest for a whole stack of other ideas for Fabric Christmas trees

And what would Christmas be without candy canes and gingerbread men? We did applique’s on a simple little holiday pillow.
Now don’t eat too much turkey and cranberry sauce!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Liz, as well as Scott, Debbie, Bill and all the staff at Janome. I had a milestone birthday a few days ago and received a milestone gift from my hubby – a Janome 500 embroidery machine!! So I guess I’ll be checking out the designs on the janome embroidery website and whip up some of those angels for next year!! Best wishes for 2017:-)
