Love the colors…reminds me of fall, I am not a Canadian but I can see creating a landscape quilt wall hanging with Canada’s maple leaf as the focal point.

I love, love, love the pattern and as a retired teacher; I know the perfect teacher who would be thrilled to accept my work to display in her Sociol Studies classroom as part of Canadian History. Of course it is the thread that make it such an exquisite 150 year old icon. I have a feeling, I will be donating a few more to other classrooms to enjoy and discuss our heritage. I guarantee that my Janome 15000 will perform beautifully with the Aurifil thread in it’s system. My daughter lives in the U.S. and would love to have the pattern with those beautiful colours made into squares for a quilt to cuddle up with and recall her wonderful life growing up in Canada.
