One of the great benefits of working with Janome Canada is that I get to travel and meet so many interesting people. Every Janome dealership is different and their customers have different interests.
I recently traveled through the interior of British Columbia to Kelowna to conduct a Janome Products Launch party. The store that hosted me was Linda’s Quilt Shoppe. Jim and Linda are the owners of the shop and what a wonderful place it is!! They are completely dedicated to their customers and the support they give is amazing.
Not all quilt stores have the large square footage to accommodate a classroom for their customers. The exceptionally large room with beautiful quilts hanging everywhere was very inspirational. They have loads of classes they offer their customers and many of them travel a far distance to participate in the store events.
I love it when class attendees ask loads of questions. You know they are engaged in the discussion topic when they ask about the finer details. This group was especially active with asking questions. It was a fairly large group that included both men and women. It was an absolute pleasure to hear about the projects they like to work on and how they are using their Janome machines.
My presentation covered the new Janome Horizon MC 15000 Quilt Maker, all the Janome Apps (see them in action on YouTube) for the iPad, Horizon Link software, new MC 6700 machine, a review of the MC 9400 machine, and the new Quilt Maker Pro 18 long arm machine.
