The monogram section of the Horizon Link Software that comes with your Janome Horizon MC 15000 Quiltmaker machine contains eleven fonts for lettering in addition to three Cyrillic fonts. The compiling of a text message is done directly on the screen of the computer with the use of the keyboard.
In this tab are two icons that are often overlooked and yet they contain several patterns different from those built into the machine.
‘Normal Sew’ Icon opens to a section which offer 102 patterns that can be embroidered as a single pattern, a continuous line, or as a combination.
The “Border” icon section opens to offer 46 patterns that can be combined to be embroidered on a narrow part such as a cuff, a pocket, a blouse button placket, etc.
The ‘space’ key is used to add spaces between patterns. It is possible to enlarge and reduce the patterns by 20% directly in the grid window.
In order to visualize each of the patterns it is a good idea to embroider them: then you will always have them as reference to make your choice easier.
If you have Janome’s MBX5 Digitizer software you can import the text design and use the editing functions to create even more text pattern layout options.
Visit your local Janome Authorized Dealer to participate in a demonstration or course on the Horizon Link Suite software.
