You might have missed our post on this foot just before Christmas> Or possibly you read it but were too busy with Santa, turkey & cranberry sauce to remember it?  We thought we would mention this again as it really is a pretty neat gadget! Check out the post we did on this in December 2017.

Pics below are all courtesy of Sew4Home.com. We have put this foot through its paces and are pretty impressed with the results. It operates in a somewhat similar way to the Binder foot we have had for years – only much easier in or opinion. It could also be likened somewhat to the Quilt Binder set – but in small scale. You may use commercially  made/store bought bias tape or you can make your own with Clover Bias tape makers. The foot is adjustable so you can vary the widths of the tape. I think this foot is going to become a VERY useful addition to our sewing rooms.

Taping guide foot. I have tried to get the information over which one of these guides will fit. I have a Janome DXL603 but looking on your website you do not have this information available and you website is NOT USER friendly in relation to advice.

      Hi Doreen,

I notice you live in the UK. You may certainly contact your local Janome dealer or the Janome UK office in Stockport. I am unfamiliar with the model #DXL603 as we do not necessarily have the same models in North America as you do in the UK. However, I have looked up the Janome.co.uk website and they do indeed have a very useful accessory catalogue there which lists your machine model as top loading 7mm so you need the 7mm foot as listed in our Janome Canada blog posts. Not sure if the Taping Guide foot is listed in this accessory catlaogue yet? It is a new foot and may need to be added at some point. These are clip on feet so the high or low shank is irrelevant. Not sure which website you are referring to but http://www.janome.com has TAPING FOOT under accessories – easy to find and plenty info given. I think the UK website was pretty clear too so dont think you can be referring to either of these websites.
