Visiting Victoria is like coming home for me. I was born in Victoria, so it always has a special place in my heart. When I first walked into Sawyers Sewing Centre, I was a little overwhelmed, this store is huge!

The variety of machines and products is great. Beautifully set up in a bright store to allow you to view all the items.

I love all the vintage sewing machines that decorate the store.
Then we walked into the classroom. Wow! What a great space to demonstrate products or teach a class.

When we were there we taught Fearless Sewing and Sew Appy. What an amazing group of clients we had. Some great laughs and everyone had fun. We created some awesome fabric Sew Appy baskets and learned easy ways to conquer our sewing fears.

We also had an amazing time in Victoria at the Creativ Festival in March.

We had a great booth and lots of people coming in to see the sewing machines and the fabulous quilts we used to decorate the booth.

I had the honour of meeting Jarret’s father, Dean. He decided to try his hand at free motion quilting on the new Janome HD9.

While shows are a lot of work, we all enjoy what we do: helping our customers and of course playing and creating on the fabulous sewing machines. I love my job!
