In the heart of downtown Prince George is a great sewing shop. Prince George Sewing Centre was opened in 1970. The shop is owned and operated by a lovely couple, Norma and Ken. They have so much shared knowledge and passion for sewing. Norma loves being at the store dealing with customers. When she gets a chance she is pursuing her other passion…bowling.

Looking down the aisles you see a sea of colour. I love looking at fabric.

A store combined with Janome Sewing machines, fabrics, craft supplies, notions and a service centre. There is an upstairs that is open on Fridays with fabulous discounts. Always great deals to be found! I found some Veggie Tale panels that I can’t wait to make into a couple of quilts.
Next time you are passing through town, make sure to stop in and see Norma and Ken.
I live in Prince George and was pleasantly surprised to see you highlight this delightful couple and the store. I have gone to this sewing centre many times and love how knowledgeable Ken is when it comes to the sewing machines. The store is small but lovely and people are always very friendly Kudos to them and to you for this out of the way store in Northern British Columbia.

Thanks for spotlighting PG Sewing. I bought my Janome from them in December. The staff are friendly and helpful and Ken can fix anything! I love my new machine and I love dropping into the store just to say hello and see what is new.
I am very happy Janome customer!
