We have just launched our new Janome Canada Education Event Menu for this Fall through Spring next year. Many of our dealers have already booked one of our educators to visit their stores and share new information, fun projects, sewing hints and tips and more. We are offering a preview below. But please ask your local Janome Canada dealer if they will be hosting one or more of these events. You won’t want to miss out. We have been sewing samples and prepping for these fun-filled events for several months and are very excited about what we have to share with you!
In the Divide and Conquer class there are 2 options: lecture /demo or a full day hands -on opportunity to embroider and make the little jelly fish zipper baggie. All materials are supplied in a kit for the hands-on class and machines will also be provided so you can just come, learn and have fun!
And ideal opportunity to see and try out all our longarm quilting machines!
This lecture/demo class is packed full with a dozen different ways to quilt your quilts. Don’t miss this great learning opportunity and trunk show of the various techniques.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this class is only about knit fabric. We will be offering a great knit fabric swatch/workbook for a small kit fee but most of this lecture/demo class is about how you can make sewing garments with knit fabrics so much easier with our Janome sergers and coverhem machines. LOTS of hints and tips to sew with knits……many of you have told us you are afraid of knit fabrics so this is your chance to get the goods on how to deal with them.
This will be a super fun hands-on full day class where you will learn a bunch of techniques and go home with 3 completed bags: In-the-hoop zipper baggie, earbud pouch and wristlet using Blue Calla’s Clematis Wristlet . There is a kit fee for this class as all materials and machines will be provided. Just come and learn and have creative fun!
Hi, I follow your posts/ emails ‘Enviously’. I am in Sydney Australia and as far as I have been able to ascertain , have ‘Nothing’ even vaguely like this for Janome ladies!! In fact, ‘green’ with envy of the Canadian ladies options. Well done.
