I know we have been waiting for these to arrive so it is good news that they are here in time for Christmas if you let Santa know right away to order you one at your local Janome Canada dealer.
The workbook comes in a softcover book format – not the binder as with previous workbooks. It has 171 pages chock full of great info and a wide rnage of sewing exercises as well as a lovely sampler quilt to make with your Janome MC9450. This workbook is also compatible with Janome MC9400 models which have been upgraded to MC9450 (with the USB and foot upgrade package).
I have included a pic of the table of contents to see what awaits you between the covers of this workbook!

Hi, I live in Quebec and I have contacted 2 Janome dealers (Excelle in Laval, Penelope in St. Hubert). No one seems to be able to order this workbook. Could it be only French books are sold in Quebec? I would like to purchase this workbook in English. Can I order directly from you? I also have a daughter who lives in Newmarket, Ontario and your Janome Dealer is Evelyn’s Sewing Center in Newmarket. Please advise how I can order.

This workbook may very definitely be ordered/purchased from ANY of our dealers. We do not sell direct – please order from one of our dealers. I do know that it has been super popular and we have run out of inventory more than once. I dont know if we currently have inventory or not but, if not, rest assured, we would reorder more from our supplier. Your dealer can order it, and even if it goes onto back order, they will get when it comes back into stock. I will see both the QC dealers you list tomorrow at a meeting and I will be sure to mention that the Workbook can be ordered. It IS available only in English. There is no French translation but it appears you want it in English so that is not a problem. The Janome Dealer in Newmarket is The Quilt Store. Their contact details are on our website.

Yes, this Workbook totally applies to the MC9400 and also includes the upgrade features of the MC9450.

Hello,
Please advise how much this books is and is there just one book or are there many more covering different topics.
I noticed that there are quilt blocks. Is this to teach different features of the 9450 sewing machine?
We do not have a Janome dealer in town (North Bay) so I cannot view this book without travelling for two hours one way. Can this book be ordered on amazon?

You will need to ask a Janome Dealer for a price. We are a wholesale distribution company and we sell through our dealers so we do not quote retail pricing. I would suggest you consult our Dealer locator on the home page of http://www.janome.ca and call an Ontario dealer of your choice to ask for a price and whether they will ship to you or not. Many dealers will ship. You can try Amazon – some Dealers may list it there although we do not sell direct through Amazon. Just check before buying whether it is being sold in Canadian or US$ and what the shipping fee is. Sometimes it is, quite frankly, better to buy from a local Canadian dealer.
It is just this one book as far as I am aware – chock full of good information. Yes, the quilt blocks teach various techniques and operations on the machine as you make the sampler quilt. I think it is an excellent self – learning tool which would be good for you seeing as you live far from a dealer and support/lessons.
