Today we show you the various sets of quilting templates that are available to make the cutting of your quilting pieces for blocks and appliques SEW much easier.
This is Part # JA-TRIE which has 4 different sized triangles in this set ranging from 2 – 5 inch even equilateral triangles. (Amazed I remembered my math from all those years ago – each side of the triangle is the same length and all 3 angles are 60 degrees?!)
I flipped the one over so you can see the non-slip surface which grips nicely onto the fabric you intend to cut with your rotary cutter >>>> precision cutting. These templates include the 1/4 inch seams.
And there is another set of triangular cutting templates in 2.5 inch – 5.5 inch sizing. These templates include the 1/4 inch seams. Part # JA-TRI
And another set – this time squares with 1/4 inch seams included – in sizing from 2 – 5 inches. Finished sizes 1,5 – 4.5 inch squares. Part # JA-SQE
And the larger one with 2.5 – 5 inch squares. Part # JA-SQ. Precision cutting at your fingertips with non- slip under surface. Win – win I’d say!
Contact your local Janome North America dealer for more information and to order these nifty tools.
IS there a place i can go to see some training videos on how to do different things with my machine? I have a Memory Craft 6700p and would enjoy seeing how to use the different feet and stitches on it; projects and practical uses for these would be fantastic. This Janome Life seems to be a marketing tool to sell more accessories to go with your machine. Thank You for your time.

Hi Veronica
Did you try You Tube for video’s? Here is a link specifically to our Jnaome You Tube channel- referring to MC6700P
https://www.youtube.com/user/JanomeUSA/search?query=6700P.
You also have your 6700P instructional DVD and manual as well as support from your local Janome dealer – hopefully they offer owner’s classes and other classes on fun projects and so on?
We think janomelife is much more than a marketing tool to sell more accessories. This series of posts on a brand new range of Sew Comforatble accessories could be viewed as that but our blog viewers have asked us often to inform them when new products become available. We also do try consistently to offer a well rounded menu of informative blog posts on a wide range of topics and machines in our line: sergers, embroidery, quilting, software and sewing. Some posts are project ideas and hints and tips about how to use features and techniques on various Janome machines. If you look through our archives, I think you might agree with us that we also offer solid, ongoing educational content.
