You’ve probably heard about the various workbooks that Janome has for different machine models but you may not have seen the Horizon Memory Craft 9450 QCP Workbook yet. Before you ask if you can also use this workbook for the MC9400, the answer is “yes!”. This workbook is helpful for both of these Janome machines.
You may be wondering why you would want this workbook. You already have the machine manual, so what use would a workbook be? Because it’s a workbook! Unlike the manual, the workbook gives you practical exercises that walk you through how to use the various features on the Janome MC9450 to quilt, monogram, and use the many other features on this model.
I really think that the best way to learn about the features on a new Janome sewing machine is to use them and the workbook shows you exactly how to do this.
The Horizon Memory Craft 9450 QCP Workbook has a table of contents that allows you to quickly find the section that you want to explore. Once there, you’ll find information including photos or graphics and an exercise so you actually stitch using that feature. I like that the workbook has larger type in it and lots of explanatory images. So helpful!
While the Horizon Memory Craft 9450 QCP Workbook is an optional purchase, I believe that it is essential to have in your studio – right next to your Janome MC9450 machine manual. You can purchase this workbook from your local Janome dealer. If he/she doesn’t currently have it in stock, they will be glad to order one for you.

This 9450 Workbook is produced here in North America. We do not sell direct to the public. We only sell to our Janome Dealers in Canada and the USA. The only thing I can suggest is that you contact a dealer in Canada or the USA to ask if they would ship to you in the UK? The dealer listings are found on both http://www.janome.ca and http://www.janome.com under Find a Dealer.
Alternatively, possibly you could contact Janome UK in Stockport to ask if they would be prepared to bring a shipment of these workbooks into the UK to sell through their dealers. That would be entirely up to them, of course.

Not sure where you are situated but these are sold through our Dealers in Canada and in the US. Consult our janome.ca or janome.com website for Dealer locator. Call your dealer to ask and find out if they will order for you. Most dealers are still working but I’d suggest calling or emailing first. Your dealer will find out if there is currently inventory available and order you one.

Not that I am aware of but I will ask and post on Janomelife if there is. We do not publish workbooks for all our models. Usually only the top of the line models so I am almost 100% sure there is no 500E workbook. Please utilize your instruction manual, instructional DVD, built in manual on the Embroidery Editor software – all included with your 500E. Also look at the Janome USA You Tube channel. And, of course, your owners classes and other Ed programs at your local Janome Dealer.

Kim Is there Much difference in features in a s9 and a mc9450.
Like they are in the same place and have a lot of the same things.

There is a considerable difference. The S9 is a combo sewing and embroidery machine while the MC9450 is a sewing and quilting machine. You can also visit or call any local Janome Dealer who would be able to give you a detailed comparison of these 2 models.

Please, is this workbook compatible for the Memory Craft 6600 P that I have? And, Nova Sewing Centre in Hamilton is my go to Janome dealer- do they have the books in store or do must they order. What is the cost of the workbook, please? Thank you!

There would be a few similarities but the Mc6600P and Mc9450 are very different machines. You would have to order any Janome items you may require from your dealer. The cost of the workbook is a question for your dealer. But in all honesty, I do not think this workbook would work for your Mc6600P.
