What is under your needle today for Saturday Sewing? Have you been sewing face masks, scrub caps, head bands and more?
Here is a link to a newspaper report about Janome coming to the rescue of the Mahwah Police Department. The Janome America Head office is located in Mahwah, New Jersey.
There are SO many reports on social media and in the news about people stepping up, making a difference and sewing to help during this Pandemic.
Here is a link to a video showing well know Canadian Sewist, Ron Collins, making face masks on our Janome HD9. He stepped up to the plate at the request of a friend and shows us exactly how to make very simple pleated masks.
There is, of course, NO shortage of instructions and patterns on social media. There is another version on www.janome.ca in our Make a Face Mask Tutorial with supporting information.
So, what is under your needle today?
I’m glad to see you (and Janome) get some kudos. Especially after some sewists were so hateful in the beginning. Your heart has always been in the right place. Thanks for all your posts. Be well and safe. My best to you and yours
