We have been offering online or virtual classes through participating Janome Canada dealers since September. Feedback we are receiving from you and your dealers is that you are loving these classes. You can watch them safely in the comfort of your own home (in your PJ’s if you wish!!) AND you can ask questions as our Janome educators are presenting at every one of these classes.
The Artistic Digitizer classes especially have been very well received. There are 3 parts with more than 2 hours of tuition in each part. And we will repeat these 3 Artistic Digitizer classes in January……..just like when we could come to your Dealer’s store to do an event.
HOWEVER, if you have been enjoying the free trial access to Artistic Digitizer, you may not wish to wait until January? We feel confident you will want some expert tuition RIGHT NOW. So I am happy to tell you that there is one more opportunity to attend an online Artistic Digitizer Part 1 class next week on Thursday 5th at 7.00 -9.15pm Eastern time. Your free access to the software free trial expires on 7th November so you will still be able to follow along in your software with our teacher as she gives you a very useful overview of the tools in this software as well as gets you going with some exercises.
A video and a PDF set of notes for each Part is available to you if you have registered to attend any of these Artistic Digitizer classes with your dealer. We have taught it many times during October so we know many of you are super thrilled and have asked for more. We will be working on a part 4 and 5 for Feb/March 2021. Follow and watch on Janome Life or ask your dealer for more info on dates for these classes. We are also working on Edge Cutter and Simple cut software classes as well as a very exciting Janome exclusive embroidery hands on project series – all offered online through our dealers. Watch this spot for more information early in the New year.

Remember that you can log on from wherever you are. You do need to be in the time zone as above. You log on at the time in your time zone. Your dealer or I can help with that – I know if gets confusing especially with the time change coming up this weekend!

i registered for the coverhem classes that start tomorrow, February 3rd. This morning I called the store that I registered through and was told that I would be receiving the class link today. I have not received it yet. Just want to make sure I am on the class list

Which dealer did you book with? We have multiple dealers booking people into these classes and I do not have the list of registrations made with our dealers. I would have to check with your dealer.

Karen’s question is also mine: To the best of my knowledge we don’t have classes like this available in the US at this time. I’d love to share this on my FB feed and with my US students, BUT don’t want to do so unless I know that somehow folks the US can sign up with a recommended dealer in Canada. Since it is so easy these days to pay via PayPal (which does the currency conversions), it might be possible. Thanks!

I have taken several online classes with Janome but other than the one date (Nov 5) for Artistic Digitizer, will there be other opportunities to take Part 1, 2 and 3 for the Artistic Digitizer?? I have purchased the software but the date of Nov 5 is an issue. Thanks.

The Artistic Digitizer class part 1 on Thursday 5 is the last we will be offering until January for this software. We have many other online classes during November but as we have already offered these classes ( parts 1-3) several times during October, this 5th Nov will be all for now. I’m sorry you missed them – we did advertise them here on Janome Life blog and through participating dealers. We will be repeating parts 1 through 3 on 15th, 22nd and 29th January. Again thorough participating dealers. Early in the New Year I will publish here which dealers will be participating and you can book through one of them.

Please contact the dealer as listed with Tel # in the post. She will register you and send you the class info and code to log on next week at the advertised time. You would be 1 1/2 hours earlier than eastern time I believe.
