How many times in the last year have you said to yourself “I need a bigger sewing room!” Think of all the hours you’ve spent riffling through drawers, boxes and bags of supplies looking for just the right tool/ notion/ fabric, whatever.
Instead of reaching for the sledgehammer, how about picking up some fabulous new sewing furniture to make BETTER USE of your existing space!? Though you may resist the initial expense and think you’ll “make-do” with second-hand cast-offs, you will recoup the investment by being more productive; spending more times sewing and creating and less time being frustrated looking for things. Add the 5 drawer 2041 storage cabinet to the side for even more workspace for your projects, and more organization with the shallow drawers. As soon as I saw these come into our warehouse, I wheeled a set right into my classroom as my primary sewing/ teaching station. I love them!
No more wasting time digging through to find things; all your fabulous Janome optional presser feet can be laid out – in alphabetical order – so they’re within easy reach. The quicker and easier it is to find something, the more likely we’re actually going to use it!
In order to be more productive, you have to be comfortable, and the single-most important piece of sewing furniture – next to your machine itself – is your sewing chair. Trust me, do yourself a huge favour and treat yourself to a fabulous new Arrow Chair. You will be astounded at the difference it makes in your stamina, and in the quality of your sewing.
