Happy Birthday, Trudy!

I was fortunate enough to pop into Langley Vacuum and Sewing, our Janome Dealer in Surrey, BC, on a very special day. The owner, Trudy, was celebrating a very special birthday.

Trudy was celebrating her 80th birthday!

She has been in the sewing business for over 40 years and loves it still. She very proudly told me that her shop was the first in Canada to sell a computerized sewing machine.

She had a fabulous cake which was decorated with sewing notions. – sew appropriate, don’t you think?
