Janome Canada recently announced their Great Gift Ideas for the Holidays promotion and, like many of you, I have one or two items on my holiday wish list.
For my last blog post, I showed you how to sew piping into a bag seam using the adjustable zipper foot on my Janome HD9 Professional. However, wouldn’t it be nice if I could create my own piping and add it to my bags using a piping foot?
This leads me to the first item on my wish list: a piping foot for my Janome MC 6650! The piping foot has two grooves on the underside that make creating and attaching your own piping a breeze. Since I already use my Janome MC 6650 for a variety of creative features related to bag making, the addition of a piping foot would make it indispensable in my sewing room.
If I could select an item from the Great Gift Ideas for the Holidays promotion, I would LOVE an embroidery machine so I could add some beautiful embroidered designs on my handmade bags.
The Janome Memory Craft 550E would be another useful addition to my sewing studio. With a maximum embroidery size of 7.9 x 14.2”, I would have a lot of options to incorporate some lovely designs to quite a few of my patterns! Watch this demonstration HERE.
