Quilt Canada in Vancouver was very exciting for many reasons; it was our first LIVE show since 2019, but it also marked the Canadian DEBUT of the fabulous NEW Janome Quilt Maker 15 longarm quilting machine!
YES! Janome has added yet another fabulous machine to their longarm line up.
The frame is streamlined, so it’s quick and easy to put together. At 8feet, it’s less overwhelming than the usual 12foot frame of the Janome QMP18 and Janome QMP20. You might not have room for 12feet, but 8feet is more doable. If you’d like something in the middle, there’s also a 2ft extension available to bring your frame up to 10feet.
Like all Janome longarm machines, the Janome Quilt Maker 15 has 2 modes of stitching; manual and regulated and stitches an impressive 1800 per minute! This machine will definitely help you complete that pile of UFOs faster and with less effort than by quilting on your domestic sewing machine.
To get your quilts done even faster, add the optional Pro Stitcher LITE software to let the machine do all the heavy lifting.
There’s plenty of optional accessories available for the NEW Janome Quilt Maker to give you even MORE fun and flexibility. In addition to the Ruler Base, there are a variety of optional hopping feet, including the EZ Ruler Foot, Echo Feet, and my personal favourite, the Couching feet!
I’m SEW excited that I’ll soon be setting up my own NEW Janome Quilt Maker 15 in my larger classroom at the Janome Sewing and Learning Centre. You can be sure you’ll be seeing more of it for upcoming Janome Life blogs and Janome HQ’s Janome’s Magical Machine Mystery Tour! Be sure to follow our Janome Canada and Janome HQ social media so you don’t miss a post!
As always, check with your Janome Canada dealer for details, as the machine we used in the booth at Quilt Canada SOLD!
I’m loving it Michael – who knew I could be having this much fun!
Yay! That’s great to hear, Kay! There’s always lots of fun to be had with Janome! Happy Quilting!
