It’s a NEW year and Celine has a whole new line up of NEW projects filled with new sewing tips and tricks for you! This month the Janome Sewing Machine Facebook LIVES will focus on projects to help you “Bundle up in style” since most of the United States, and certainly all of us in Canada are in the throws of Winter with more cold and snow on the way!
On today’s Janome Sewing Machine Facebook LIVE at 3pm Eastern, Celine will show you how to fashion a fabulous furry scarf, complete with a bound buttonhole. Don’t panic! Bound buttonholes aren’t as difficult to create as one would imagine. They do take some practice, but they definitely elevate your sewing to the designer category. As always, Celine will share all her tips and tricks for success!
Though Celine often uses the fabulous Janome Continental M17. or Janome MC15000 Quilt Maker to demonstrate her techniques, many Janome models come with the same presser feet or have the same stitches, or have the same embroidery designs, or features, so these projects can be done on any machine. There are always creative ways to adapt to make it work!

Check out our handy NEW Janome Accessories Guide in the Accessories Tab on Janome.CA. to find the presser feet and accessories compatible with your machine. Click the Products tab, then scroll down to find “View all Accessories“. Click there to access the Search Box or to scroll through the pages to find the accessories you’d like. Click on the picture/description to find the Part Number and machine compatibility. And, as always, check with your fabulous Janome Dealer!

Don’t worry if you can’t make the LIVE. All of the presentations will be saved under the Videos tab of the Janome Sewing Machines Facebook page. Use the Search Box to find all the videos with Celine Ross.
Don’t have a Facebook account, don’t worry, they will be uploaded to the Janome HQ You Tube channel under the Facebook Live playlist to enjoy whenever you wish!
Happy Sewing!
Hello, Michael, Thank you to Janome Canada for sharing Celine with us in the states! I personally have learned so many new things by watching her videos and I have been sewing for over 70 years. Yes, I am old– 80. Last week I watched her presentation on the sewing on polarfleece to make a neck warmer. I took notes as she was doing this because I then always write them up in docx to print and put into a notebook. But I feel that I miss some of the viewing as I write. Then I always go back and watch it over a second time. However, last weeks’ video has not been posted on the Janome page as all the other videos are. Is there something you could do about this to get it posted there? I certainly would really appreciate it.
And because of the lack of fabric stores where I live, I need to order online. So today my polarfleece arrives that I ordered to make this project: one for my daughter and one for me. I am quite excited. I just want to be sure that I do everything precisely and correctly. There is a lot of cold winds and weather to come our way yet this winter. I think of how warm and snuggly that will feel around a neck.
Thank you for all that you do to make our sewing experiences so much more creative and fun. Have a good day,

Thank you sew much for your feedback and sweet compliments. Celine is indeed a treasure. Her extensive sewing knowledge and experience is second to none, and she’s been with Janome Canada longer than any of us. She is a fountain of information and inspiration.
All of Celine’s presentations are stored under the Videos/Media tab on the Janome Sewing Machines Facebook page so it’s great to be able to review again as often as you need. I love your suggestion to take notes to save in a binder for reference!
Sometimes technology; usually internet interruptions, doesn’t work the way it should and the LIVE presentation isn’t saved to the page as usual. In that case, Celine later records the presentation which is then posted to the FB page. Celine’s schedule is very full as she does many lives, each week, so it make take a few days for the presentation to be posted.
Thank you sew much for following us at Janome on both sides of the border across many platforms as we’re all here to help share the Janome love however we can! Happy Sewing!
