Celine is back LIVE every Tuesday at 3pm EST on the Janome Sewing Machines Facebook page for an entire month of sewing fun and education to help you get the most from your Janome machine!
Today, Celine will show share tips and tricks of Ruler Work/ Ruler Quilting using the amazing A.S.R. Accurate Stitch Regulator on the Janome CM17. Yes! You can do ruler quilting and free motion quilting with stitch regulation on this incredible machine.
Though Celine will be demonstrating on the fabulous Janome Continental M17, Janome’s Top of the Line machine, many times the techniques can be executed on a variety of machines so everyone can share in the fun! Ruler Quilting can be done on almost every Janome sewing machine, it just won’t be with automatic stitch regulation, You become the stitch regulator!
Celine will be demonstrating the Janome Ruler Work Kit for High Shank machines, Part Number RULERSET-HS, BUT………………..
Don’t have a High Shank machine? Not to worry, the Janome Ruler Work Kit is now available for LOW SHANK machines, as well, like the fabulous Janome 3160 QDC-T machines! The Part Number is RULERSET-LS.
To determine if your machine is High Shank or Low Shank, lower the presser foot and measure up the screw which attaches the foot holder. If it’s approximately 1/2″, it’s LOW shank. If it’s approximately 1-1-1 1/4″ it’s HIGH shank.
