Digitizer MBX V5.5

Version 5.5 of Digitizer MBX has been available since the beginning of the year.  This can be purchased from an authorized Janome dealer. The update comes with an instruction book and the USB stick that contains this update. Read the instructions and run the step-by-step update by following the steps. You need to have the box of your V 5.0 version with the activation code as you will need this during the updating process.

The software is offered in several languages in PDF documents.  The main new features described by Wilcom are:

The latest version of CorelDRAW replaces the Essentials X6 version. It is fully compatible with Windows 10 which reduces installation problems.  The ability to draw is improved. The tracing features are fully automatic and are not limited as with the Essentials X6 version.  The vector file format is integrated for digital cutters… we can now use our artistic edge with version 5.5!!!

With previous versions, the embroidery of a photo was only available in one color/monochrome. With version 5.5, we can choose the desired number of thread colors from the color chart.  As an example… my photo!

The color reduction has been improved in order to create more precise shapes for embroidery.  The ‘ automatically scan ‘ function has undergone a slight overhaul. The pairing method has been updated; and by default, the colors in the image are added to the drawing palette.

The design management of version 5.5 has further improved the powerful drawing library. The new ‘ docker ‘ provides information about thread colors and the embroidery process. The ‘ thread color ‘ tab displays the color sequence and the number of embroidery stitches for each of the drawing elements. The ‘ embroidery ‘ tab displays the technical details of the process of embroidery.

It is now possible to print files of selected drawings. Printed files contain thumbnails and some details in text. You can prepare files of your drawings according to your needs.
