OK, so I am not going to “lecture” you on setting goals & making plans to achieve these goals (aka New Year’s resolutions) as most of us start squirming and feeling uncomfortable round about now. No, I think all I need say is that 2016 needs to have less stress, more sewing and quilting enjoyment and lots of time spent with family and friends – who, after all, are the most important people in our lives, don’t you think? Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
We have had a busy year on janomelife offering you 135 blog posts from 1 January until 31 December…….that works out to 2.5 per week! Even though we say so ourselves, we think that is pretty impressive – we sure did our best to keep you informed, inspired, educated and motivated to sew.
One of the most popular 2015 posts was back in April when we posted what Betty Chalker shared with us about “upside down quilting”.
We received over 1000 comments from you this year…..we love hearing from you so do continue to ask questions and offer your suggestions and comments.
About our janomelife comment box: Please note that our comment box is not a forum for detailed & lengthy education support. Quick, simple answers – no problem – Ask away and we will try our best to give you the quick answer. But, your first place to go for in-depth product knowledge and education support is your local Janome dealer where you purchased your machine or embroidery software.
OR do a search in the search box on the janomelife homepage for the topic you have questions about. 10 to 1 we have previously posted about this and you may well find your answer in one of the many posts in our archives. But do use ”search” as it is much quicker than working your way through 5 – 6 years of blog posts!
In addition, North American (USA & Canada) Janome customers are encouraged to contact the Software Helpline at 1-800-631-0183 Ext775 or send an email to them from either the http://www.janome.ca or http://www.janome.com websites. This is for support for any of our embroidery software programs; Horizon Link Suite; APPS, etc. For any phone calls to the helpline, do bear in mind that the Helpline is located in the EST time zone – normal business hours – so leave a message and Tel# where you can be contacted easily when they return your call.
Here at Janome we have some very exciting things in the pipeline for 2016. No, we are not going to share that with you now as that would be letting the cat out of the bag & you are probably too busy eating turkey leftovers at this point anyhow! However, we would like to suggest that you stay tuned (do sign up to receive email alerts each time we publish a new janomelife post if you have not already done this) as we don’t want you to miss out on any of the fun stuff coming.
Wishing you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR with much health and sewing in 2016!
I absolutely love this janome life. I look forward to receiving it, and reading it. Wishing you all a very happy New year. Karen x

Being rather new to Janome, I am really enjoying this blog. Is there a way to suggest a project for the blog via a website or email address?

Liz – this is meant personally for those that run this website, so no need to put it up as a comment if you don’t want to. I just want to say that this is one of the most useful and informative websites I have found regarding Janome machines. I love the the way the articles are relevant and well written with lots of useful information. Also that questions are answered and apologies made when wrong info is given (which really isn’t that often).
Thanks again for all the valuable information on your site – I am hoping to develop my website more over the next year in expectation that it too will be appreicated by those that sew!
Thanks again and Happy New Year to you all!
